Oatmeal Variations

  • Whole oats+

–1-2 tsp each chia and flax seeds, soaked in water 5-10 minutes, grated apple, shake of cinnamon, 1 tbsp peanut butter, pinch of salt
–Pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice mix , almond butter, golden raisins, pinch of salt
–Cardamom pear applesauce (see recipe), chopped nuts
–soy sauce, scallions, toasted sesame seeds or sesame oil

Combine, cover with water, microwave for two minutes, adding nuts/oils after heating
