Cleanse Tzimmes

  • 1 bag carrots
  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup pitted prunes
  • 1/2 cup apricots
  • Juice of 2 fresh lemons
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • sea salt
  • black pepper
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • cloves
  • star anise
  • cumin
  • cayenne (if you like some spicy)
  • poppy seeds

Boil carrots and potatoes. Then mix all ingredients together, add to baking dish, and bake until desired level of burnt/crisp at 350 degrees.
