During the ten days in between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, we bring you a mind/body/spirit reflection via dietary cleanse.
Esrei Yamim is Hebrew for 10 days – it’s the term representing the ten days in between Rosh Hashana (the Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur (the day of repentance). Esrei Yamim is a time to recharge and reset, and get ready to start the New Year on a clean slate.
It’s tradition to repent and reflect during Esrei Yamim. It’s also tradition to ask people for forgiveness.
